Overview

Yael Natali Sonkin Gallery (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at yaelnatali.com (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It also explains how our use of the Pinterest API works.

By using our Site and services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. You may provide personal information when you contact us, request a commission, place an order, or sign up for a workshop. Examples include your name, email address, shipping address, phone number, and any message or reference photos you choose to share with us.

Automatically collected information. When you visit our Site, we may automatically collect limited technical information, such as browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and approximate location (country/region). We use standard analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics) to gather aggregated statistics about site usage.

Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers; payment data is handled by the payment processor under their own privacy policy.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain personal information only as long as needed to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Order and commission records are typically retained for as long as needed for accounting, warranty, and customer-service reasons in line with applicable legal requirements. Marketing-related data is removed when you unsubscribe or request deletion.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfil orders, commissions, and workshop bookings.
  • Respond to your questions and provide customer support.
  • Send important notifications about your order or account, when applicable.
  • Improve our Site and understand how visitors use it through aggregated analytics.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and other violations of our policies.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Use of the Pinterest API and Pinterest-Related Data

Our Site integrates with the Pinterest API in order to publish images of artwork (such as paintings and commissions) to Pinterest boards associated with our account, so that our work can be discovered by a wider audience.

What we publish via the Pinterest API: we may share artwork images, titles, descriptions, and links back to the relevant pages of our Site (for example, a gallery or commission page).

Pinterest-derived data: when visitors interact with our Pinterest content (such as saves, clicks, or impressions), Pinterest may provide us with aggregated analytics through its API. We use this only to understand overall content performance and improve our Pinterest presence.

Disconnecting Pinterest. If you disconnect Pinterest from our application (or ask us to do so on your behalf), we will stop pulling new data from your Pinterest account. Pinterest-derived data that has already been collected may remain in aggregated, non-personal form within our analytics for a limited period, after which it is removed.

Important: Our use of the Pinterest API is subject to Pinterest's Developer Terms and policies. Our app and brand are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Pinterest.

Sharing of Information with Third Parties

We may share information with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers that help us operate the Site and deliver our services (for example: hosting, analytics, email, and payments).
  • Pinterest, when we publish artwork to Pinterest via the Pinterest API.
  • Authorities, where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We do not resell or redistribute Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember preferences, and measure traffic through tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Vercel Analytics. These tools may set cookies on your device. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the Site may not function properly if you do.

We do not use cookies to track you across third-party sites for personalized advertising.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to receive a copy of your data or withdraw consent you previously gave.
